On This Timeless Tussle - Chapter 1, Verse 3

“पश्यैतां पाण्डुपुत्राणामाचार्य महतीं चमूम् ।
व्यूढां द्रुपदपुत्रेण तव शिष्येण धीमता ॥३॥

Duryodhana said:
Behold, O Teacher, this mighty army of the sons of Pandu, skillfully arrayed for battle by your intelligent disciple, the son of Drupada.”

You decide to change — to retrain your Drona (conditioning) and thus begins the timeless tussle: the ego senses the threat and instinctively summons habit. Your old patterns almost seem to taunt your newfound resolve, reminding Drona of the master he has served for so long.

Note: Much ‘ark’ (meaning) of this verse lies in contextual understanding of key players of Mahabharata - namely - Pandu, Drupada and Drishtadyumna (Drupadaputren - or the Son of Drupada)
